Why verification matters
Without domain verification, outbound messages may be rejected by other providers or marked as spam.
Verify each domain on your account so you can send from addresses
like you@carameljs.com.
Email sending and delivery
Use this guide to understand domain verification, mailing list behavior, bounce monitoring, spam complaints, and when a dedicated bulk email platform is the better tool.
Domain verification
Email providers need proof that you own the domain you send from.
Without domain verification, outbound messages may be rejected by other providers or marked as spam.
Verify each domain on your account so you can send from addresses
like you@carameljs.com.
We check each domain for the required DKIM CNAME records. If any records are missing, add them at your DNS provider.
When the records are in place, verification usually completes within 72 hours.
Mailing lists
A mailing list is one address on your domain that can deliver to multiple people.
A list such as team@yourdomain.com receives an
incoming message and resends the original message to everyone on
the list.
The outgoing copies use the sender's address, so the original sender still matters for delivery.
When you email a mailing list, send from an address that uses one of your verified domains.
If the original sender address is not on a verified domain, recipients will not receive your message.
Bounces and complaints
Providers like Gmail and Outlook send feedback when messages bounce or are reported as spam.
One message can reach many recipients, and a list with outdated or purchased addresses can quickly create bounces. Hard bounces count toward your plan's outbound limit over a rolling 3-day window, and a spam complaint suspends sending immediately. If enough problems accumulate, outbound email for your account will be suspended until you contact support. See hard bounces and spam complaints for the full rules.
Best fit
PW Hosting mailing lists are meant for small, trusted groups, not bulk campaigns.
staff@yourdomain.com.For a newsletter, marketing campaign, or any list you send to regularly, use a dedicated email platform such as Mailchimp.
Those tools are built for opt-in lists, unsubscribe links, deliverability, and analytics. They also keep bulk sending off your hosting mailbox so your day-to-day email stays safe.
Contact support with your domain name, the sending address, and any bounce or rejection message you received.
